Royal LePage Vegas Getaway Shelter Auction!


At this inaugural Las Vegas Getaway 2010, we would like to keep a long-standing tradition alive. Historically, at every gathering of Royal LePage Realtors there is always at least one feature activity in support of Shelter Foundation. Often this is a Silent Auction and/or a Live Auction with proceeds benefiting Shelter Foundation. We propose that at Vegas Getaway 2010 monies raised be shared between Shelter Foundation and a charity that Real Living and GMAC Home Services LLC support.

We have the (conditional) promise of renowned Auctioneer Kent Browne, Owner, Royal LePage Team Realty, Ottawa, to attend Getaway 2010 and host yet another successful auction. Kent is passionate about Shelter Foundation, a dedicated supporter who travels Canada coast to coast to auction for this cause. He will come IF we have enough items of value for him to auction. This is like asking the President of the country to attend. Kent is busy man and is always willing to help, but we need to have the right items, and enough of them, for him to auction.

Currently we are working on logistics of bringing auction items through an international border. This may prove difficult and we invite your suggestions to solve this dilemma.

There are other items of great value that Kent has auctioned that do not require anything coming across a border. Who can donate training courses, printing services, a vacation, advertisement space, golf games, golf lessons, web design, web hosting, a power of sale listing, a shopping spree,
a photography session, airfares, gift certificates, a year’s worth of something, a lifetime supply of something, a holiday tour, a sky diving lesson? The sky’s the limit if we think in terms of value.
